change region?
I know this might not be relevant anymore, but I haven't played GW seriously in YEARS - I also just moved to Korea (from the US) and I'm experiencing really high ping/latency/lag spikes whenever I'm in a zone with anyone else (pvp or pve).
Is it still possible to change your account region like it used to be? I set my language to korean and went to the korean districts, but I still lag. I remember way back when they had a ded. korean server, which I assume they still have up. Am I wrong? Any way to connect to the korean server exclusively, etc? or any other way to get rid of the lag? It's just enough that PvP is basically unplayable... |

You no longer have to move your account into different region with a limited number of switches allowed like it used to be. You can swtch regions by just switching districts now.
Districts. By clicking "More Options", you can pick the specific Region, Language, and Active District you want to move to. Last edited by Eragon Zarroc; May 13, 2010 at 12:01 PM // 12:01.. |
